Erika Marie Lopez

My name is Erika Marie Lopez and I’m a devoted Christian but make no mistake about it I had a hard time growing up. My mother had me when she was 16 and my father was 26. Talk about statutory rape much?! He signed the birth certificate but was never in my life. I’ve met him a total of 3 times. Unfortunately, I come from a broken home. but, we are all believers, Christians, and God Almighty can make the impossible possible. Our God is omnipotent having unlimited power. When we ask in Jesus name we are to receive what we ask if it’s according to His will.

“i have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. And this is the confidence that we have before Him. If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we already possess what we have asked of Him…. 1 John 5:13-15 NLT

I come before God asking him to make me a great writer. In Jesus name I Pray. Amen.

And don’t forget my story is an interesting one. Up until this year I was a lost Christian. I had my demons, and they were idles in my life. During this time I needed love and never received it before and it broke my heart. I lived in Central Massachusetts for four years and would sit in my apartment isolated crying to God for help. I needed him more than ever, and he was there. I would tell my friends and family, “i have good days and i have bad days.” But now all these days are good. I wake up looking forward for the day ahead. During 2014-2018 was a period in my life I would never want to go back to. I took a life of isolation and being a lost Christian and started walking toward the light! He has opened my eyes to how beautiful His creation, the world, can be. And it is a beautiful place. He lives inside of me so whenever I need him He is there. 1 John 4

He loves me and wants nothing but the best for me. Of course, I’m still picking up the pieces of the mess I made but I have a roof over my head, a bed to sleep in that is so comfy, plenty of food in the fridge, and toilet paper hahaha. I’m staying in a beautiful home in Peabody, Massachusetts where there are pictures of Jesus Christ on the wall, crucifix also hanging in my bedroom AGAIN.

Growing up my mother’s husband hanged crucifix in two out of the three bedrooms. One was all white, it was beautiful. God always wants to remind me that He is very close and I love Him for it. To be honest I haven’t written anything in a long time but I had this pulling from the Holy Spirit to start a blog and then I saw this freelance writing gig and I thought hey why not? I was a good writer in high school; i have a story. A little bit of a following why not write about how I can hopefully help someone who has gone through something similar, isn’t experiencing true joy, knows what it takes to change but my example can shed some light for them. We all have a purpose in life and it’s our job to find out what that is. if Your not a Christian or never stopped to take the time to accept Jesus into your life. I pray for you to pray this prayer to accept Jesus into your life and become new.

“Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps by the power of the Holy Spirit. I believe in my heart that God raised you from the dead. In Jesus name I pray. Amen,

Friends, I believe if you prayed this prayer and walk with the Lord by your side you will be saved. Congratulation! God never said it would be easy but He said it will be worth it.
